Better Beginnings Better Futures is a prevention program for high-risk communities. The Sudbury Better Beginnings Better Futures’ holistic model provides child-centered activities and community development in the Flour Mill / Donovan neighbourhood.

Children’s Aid Society
In the districts of Sudbury and Manitoulin, the Children’s Aid Society of the Districts of Sudbury and Manitoulin is obligated and exclusively responsible for investigating where children are in need of protection from abuse or neglect, and for the adoption of crown wards. The Society must respond and provide services on a 24-hour basis, 365 days a year.
Children’s Community Network
The Children’s Community Network (CCN) is a nonprofit agency funded by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services (MCYS) and the Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS) with a volunteer Board of Directors. CCN is the single point of access for ministry funded children’s services and provides information and referrals to other programs available to children and their families in the community.
