Intensive Support and Supervision Program (ISSP)

This program brings together workers from the children’s mental health, youth justice and developmental sectors to address some of the underlying causes of youth crime. Services provided include:

    • An alternative to custody that is open to the judge at the time of sentencing.
    • Intensive clinical support and community supervision.
    • A community and team approach that focuses on treatment.

The program is available to those between the ages of 12 and 18 who are exhibiting severe mental health problems and who have repeatedly broken the law.
