Family Intervention and Support Program (FISP)

Family Intervention Support Program (FISP) was created to provide a community response by the Children’s Aid Society (CAS) and CFC in situations where a child may be at risk due to their behaviours and/or the parents’ care giving skills. The service provides assessment and treatment planning in collaboration with the family as well as a safety/stabilization plan if needed. Other services offered include parents’ skill training, social skills training for children and youth as well as in-home support.

To access the service:

FISP is exclusively available to children/youth up to the age of 16 (and their family) who are actively involved with the CAS and could benefit from intervention related to: parent/child conflicts, emotional and physical harm/maltreatment, situations of neglect, care giving skills and sexualized behaviours of children. For more information please contact your worker at the Children’s Aid Society (705-566-3113).
